Guided tour of PowellsWood Gardens in Federal Way  We heard about PowellsWood from the docent at the Highline/Seatac Botanical Garden when we toured there last summer. The backstory of Powellswood seems fascinating. Here’s a quote from their website:

“From a ravine where trashed cars were abandoned and plants would not grow on polluted soils, PowellsWood Garden has grown. Wandering, you can enjoy the beauty, the abundance of many life forms, and experience what stewardship for a piece of land and sustainable gardening practices can do. You may learn what they might do for you as you garden.”

There is a $10 charge per person. Please bring cash. Please be sure to RSVP via the evite when it comes out in June. We can try to coordinate carpools if we know who is coming by June 15th. Questions? Contact event coordinator Eve Miller: 575-779-1426
